What Sets Us Apart

HEEL PAIN/PLANTAR FASCIITIS

In 18 years of practice, Dr. Wilusz has never operated on a patient presenting with heel pain, heel spurs and/or plantar fasciitis. Imperative to finding a solution to the heel pain/plantar fasciitis, is to first determine the cause. If you're tired of injection therapies with short term results and are now considering a surgical solution, think again. Surgery to release the plantar fascial ligament does not treat the cause for most cases of heel pain and often creates a more unstable foot. Call (248) 922.6000 for an appointment to understand the cause of your problem and to start reaping the benefits of Dr. Wilusz's unique, conservative and non-invasive approach to heel pain and plantar Fasciitis today!

DIABETES CARE

Dr. Wilusz is a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association specializing in the treatment and management of diabetic foot care. Because diabetes is a systemic disease affecting many different parts of the body, ideal case management requires a team approach. Dr. Wilusz, as a crucial part of diabetic treatment, has documented success in the prevention of amputations. The key to preventing serious complications associated with diabetes is early detection of potentially detrimental wounds or sores is by visiting your podiatric physician for foot screens regularly.

Greycell 3D Foot Scanner

Not all Orthotics are created equal. Many businesses that supply "arch supports" or "Orthotics" have little or no bio-mechanic training to properly diagnose and treat your foot pain. Some providers have patients walk over or stand on a force plate to capture the downward pressure of the foot. Why is this wrong? They are capturing the foot in 2 dimensions; the foot is a 3 dimensional structure.

Our On-site Greycell 3D foot scanner for custom Orthotics and diabetic liners allows us to capture the foot in its most neutral and stable position. This allows for the most accurate imaging to help correct faulty bio-mechanics and improve foot function. Orthotics have been proven to relieve low back pain, knee pain, hip pain as well as foot pain.
